This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which customers may receive repair, replacement, or service for eligible items.
1. Warranty Coverage
Our 6-month limited warranty covers the following manufacturing defects:
- Defective clasps or closures, not due to misuse
- Structural flaws in metal (e.g., cracks in gold or silver that were present upon delivery) not due to misuse
- Prong or setting malfunctions, not due to misuse
- Broken or misshaped chains or links, not due to misuse
- Loose or fallen gemstones due to setting issues, not due to misuse
This warranty is valid only for jewellery purchased directly through Adonis Fine Jewellers' official website or authorized sellers.
2. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Claws/prongs on rings that bend, break, or snap due to catching on clothing, surfaces, or external impact — such damage is considered user-inflicted and is not classified as a manufacturing fault
- General wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, or cleaning agents
- Loss or theft of jewellery
- Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Stretching or breakage of chains due to improper handling
- Gemstone loss caused by impact or user damage
- Water damage (for non-water-resistant items)
Please note: Any alterations or repairs performed by third parties void this warranty.
3. Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Contact Us
Email our customer support team at support@adonisfinejewellers.co.uk with the following information:
- Full name and order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the item showing the problem
- Proof of purchase (receipt or confirmation email)
Step 2: Warranty Evaluation
Once we receive your claim, our team will evaluate the information and respond within 3–5 business days. We may request the item to be shipped to us for further inspection.
Step 3: Return Authorization
If eligible, we will provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions. The item must be shipped securely and insured. Adonis Fine Jewellers is not responsible for loss or damage during transit.
Step 4: Resolution
Upon receipt and evaluation of the item, we will determine whether the product will be:
- Repaired (free of charge)
- Replaced with a new or equivalent item
- Issued a store credit or partial refund (if repair or replacement is not possible)
Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to sending items to us. If the warranty claim is approved, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
If the claim is not approved (e.g., the damage falls outside the warranty terms or is due to user error), the customer will be notified and given the following options:
- Have the item returned as-is, with return shipping costs covered by us
- Proceed with repair or service at a quoted fee (with customer approval prior to any work being done)
*No work will be carried out without your consent.
4. Limitations and Liability
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the item at our discretion. Adonis Fine Jewellers shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product. Our liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the item.
5. Additional Support and Services
We offer a paid repair service for items no longer under warranty or for issues not covered under this policy. Please contact our customer care team for quotes and timelines.
6. International Customers
International customers are responsible for shipping, customs duties, and any applicable taxes on returns or exchanges related to warranty claims.
7. Customer Responsibility
To maintain the longevity of your jewellery, we recommend the following care:
- Store pieces in a dry, padded box when not in use
- Avoid exposure to water, lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals
- Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth
